Ask an Expert: Navigating Parkinson’s-Related Hallucinations & Delusions

Some of the most important conversations about Parkinson’s are also the hardest to start. When the subject is hallucinations and delusions, finding the words—or feeling comfortable enough to bring it up—may feel especially challenging. These conversations deserve compassion, understanding, and space for questions.

Parkinson’s Orange County invites you to join our upcoming Ask an Expert presentation, Navigating Parkinson’s-Related Hallucinations & Delusions, presented by Acadia. Join us on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time via Zoom for a discussion about why these symptoms can be difficult to talk about and how speaking up can help.

You may be wondering how to begin a conversation about something you or a loved one has experienced. You may want to better understand a topic that is not always easy to discuss. Wherever you are starting from, we invite you to make time for this educational session.

For individuals living with Parkinson’s, care partners, and family members, asking questions can feel personal. Our hope is to encourage a more open conversation—one where concerns are met with empathy and people feel welcome to seek information and support.

At Parkinson’s Orange County, we believe our community is strengthened by opportunities to learn and connect. Bringing attention to sensitive topics is part of creating an environment where people feel heard and supported.
